Let’s add a bit of historical background here. BDSM, as we know it today, didn’t exist back then, but many of the practices we have today did start back then, like flogging, figging, birching, etc. Sexuality in this Era was very frowned upon: women were not supposed to find sexual gratification and masturbation was forbidden for men. So, people began to develop ways to feel pleasure besides sex and that how these practices came to be. The problem?
