Saw the ask on partner reaction to rape. I know it’s not really my place to tell anyone what to do but I still felt I need to share my 2¢ b/c I believe it’s important. I think the fundamental issue with such a question is it shifts the focus away from the victim to the partners. Recovery for every victim is different and depends entirely on what is deemed acceptable to the /victim/. While the partners will be important, it is ultimately not up them. So pls just consider this if/when you answer.

I agree, my dear anon. I just had a talk with the others and we have agreed that this subject is a very serious topic to talk about and we cannot treat this in the same manner as we have treated the other ‘ask the admins’ topics we had previously.

Therefore, we have decided that it is best not to answer this (or any similar type of asks). We are very sorry to disappoint anyone who wishes to see our opinion about this, but as you said – it does take away the focus from the victim. It may be fictional, but it is still a very heavy subject matter and we would rather have the blog focus on its true purpose: A safe haven to share dirty thoughts and confessions about the Assassin’s Creed characters.
