Apparently we all had an awakening from that library submission because here’s another one, fully modern-themed.

Imagine having to go help Shaun with a nearly impossible research task in an old, old library. It’s incredibly difficult, and you’re both so tense that you worry that if you don’t find the answer, one of you will kill each other. Until, finally, you find the answer you both have been looking for, and he thanks you by pushing you up a ladder to reenact THAT scene from Atonement. Or THAT scene from season 1 of Bridgerton. Either way, you are absolutely signing up for research duty again. 😉

Needless to say, I was very happy to see that my favorite twins, Evie and Jacob Frye, and my very favorite historian, Shaun Hastings, all share my zodiac sign. I’ve been belly dancing for several years and have been performing for audiences almost as long. Sometimes when I practice at home with no one watching, I pretend that various Assassins have shown up to watch me dance. I’ve been working on a modern pop number, so I sometimes imagine I’m performing as a decoy so that Shaun and Desmond can complete a mission in Rome…but they almost are too distracted by me.

And, while in real life I can’t wait to change into sweatpants after a show (beaded bra and belt sets are not comfortable, if you’re curious), in this imaginary world I have no problem giving my handsome boys an encore afterwards. 😉

As much as I love the historic Assassins, I’ve always had a soft spot for Rebecca and Shaun. And by “soft spot” I mean “have fantasized about having amazing sex with them, either together or individually.”

I imagine, during one of their field trips, Shaun heard something at night and woke up.
