Right? 😆 I even made a post about it in my personal blog because I thought it was adorable! I think Jacob was embarrassed primarily because he was with the prime minister’s wife, but I love the implication that he might also be embarrassed because he was probably not used to seeing public displays of affection. And likely, being a gentleman he really would rather not see it with a woman beside him (since this is the Victorian Era we are also talking about). What do our patrons think? 🤓

Nothing dirty about this I just thought it would be funny: When my mom started to pay attention to Alexios as I played the game. She told me “that man has nice hair…” and I added “arms too, specifically his muscles.” She nods and finally admits “that, plus his eyes and facial hair are great as well…”. It’s just seeing this uptight, Christian French woman thirst for even a moment over a fictional man that cracks me up. That’s all, maybe you laughed maybe you didn’t but it’s funny af to me.

It’s quite comforting the amount of dirty thoughts and fantasies people have about fictional characters. How it’s not just me, seriously do you have any idea how validating that would have been for an eleven year old me? Growing up playing Ezio and Connor, no else cared for video games except the male elitists who bullied me for my interest in games. I had no one to tell how hot I found Ezio and how I fell in love with Connor more for his personality. Thanks Asscreed (lmao that sentence though)!

I believe that, at first, nearly all of us denied not only to other people but to ourselves about being attracted (especially sexually attracted) to video game characters. “Why do I want to have sex with someone who doesn’t exist? And that’s made up of a bunch of polygons? IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE!” That was honestly my first thought when I discovered that I was attracted to a video game character. I can just imagine how it would be an even weirder experience for someone to get attracted to a video game character that was designed during the 80′s, when game characters were literally made up of blocky pixels. We actually got lucky with the current generation of games, with characters being so life-like and being voiced by real people. Certainly not as weird compared to the early days. 🤣 But I digress.

Oh, and now I really want to ask our patrons: Who was the video game character that you were first sexually attracted to? Mine would be Dante from the first Devil May Cry. Sure, I was attracted to other characters before him, like Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII, but it was more of a “oh, he’s cute” type of attraction. Dante was legitimately the first game character that, shall we say, pulled my devil trigger 😏 Anyway, I’m very curious to know about our patrons’ replies!

@avengersdeathnote (I’m unable to reply to your message so I hope this is okay!) I assume you’ve tried submitting your confession via the web version (and not through the app)? I’ve noticed that simply clicking the links don’t work for some reason : You’d need to right-click on them. I’m not sure what happened, but it’s probably thanks to one of Tumblr’s previous updates that caused this weird error. I’m looking into a solution, but for the meantime, you may use this link to submit your confession.

ETA: I’ve figured out the issue: It seems that Tumblr wants all hyperlinks to have “https” instead of “http”. Very unfortunate, as this would actually break the theme I made 😔 So for now, I’ve defaulted to Tumblr’s basic theme. We will need to update a lot of our sub-pages to reflect this, so it’ll take a while before we can have everything up and running again.
