You make a very fine point. I’m actually a little disappointed that we haven’t gotten any Haystack entry about the two. To the point that I’m actually considering writing one myself. 😏
But I feel like the best way to write it is follow the game’s lead and write something that will let the reader choose whether they want Alexios or Kassandra. Which would be a little time consuming. But doable.
Now to think about a good plot to go with it. Yes, even if it’s as thin as Alexios’/Kassandra’s small clothes
