You are very much welcome, amico mio! Frankly, your story sounds so similar to mine. I’m not sure who else here has read my post a few months back, about wanting to quit sometime last year because I just didn’t feel the same passion for the franchise as I once did. The only reason I held on was I was just recently “appointed” the Signora Paola role and I didn’t want to quit so soon after being given it. I told myself, “In 2016, I’ll step down and give it to someone else.”
When the AC Syndicate confessions came rolling in by late October, I was really annoyed at first, especially when most of them were about Jacob. I was basically thinking: “Goddammit where would I find screenshots ughhh this Jacob character again how many more can I do without using the same images ughhhhghghg.” That frustration pretty much led me to buy the game.
I still feel a little poleaxed when I reminisce what led me to this moment, frankly. Imagine moderating a dirty confessions blog and wanting to leave the fandom for good, only to be pulled back in by that blog because the confessions were really getting to you. XD
