‘I’m sorry for dropping this in… but I am so confused and looking for some guidance or words of reassurance. Can someone be assassin-sexual? For most of my teenage/adult life (27yrs old now), I’ve identified as lesbian, dated some girls and never felt attraction towards irl men. But how come the male assassins can get me all hot and bothered (especially Connor, Ezio and Jacob)? Something doesn’t quite add up and I’m just ????’

Dearest anon, in my view, I think the mere fact that these assassins are fictional is one major draw. I’m speaking from experience here: I find that I’m readily more attracted to fictional characters simply because it’s so easy for me to “project” my wishes towards them. It’s easy for me to imagine that Jacob is a sex god, for example. 😆 In my mind, these fictional characters can never disappoint me. With real people, it’s a lot more complicated.

Of course, there’s also the fact that sexuality can be quite complex. What do our patrons think? 😄
