Serious talk for a moment, I think you could see a glimpse of these in the DLC itself with the way he thought about sending a message to Evie and even telling Nellie, “Remember what I said” before he gave her money.

I mean, I think he’d still have his brash moments, but he definitely would’ve more self-control. And who doesn’t love a composed older gentleman who still has his cocky moments? It also helps a lot that he looks like this

Frankly, I’ve my own ideas as to what makes 40-year-old Jacob so irresistible and I explore more on it in my two-part drabble here (SHAMELESS PLUG). I’m sure our patrons have their own reasons why they love him, so I’ll leave the floor to them to discuss. ^_^
