How does the secluded haystack work? :0 Is there like a list of fanfiction or does the fanfiction change every time someone submits a new one?? I’m so confused I’m sorry ): (I love the hell out of this blog and the haystack btw, just asking because I’m a bit confused)
February 8, 2016It’s okay, dear anon! Basically, it is a drabble/fanfiction archive. We still call it “confessions” here because it is understood that the people sending their submissions to the Haystack wrote those as their own fantasies about a character. Some people would prefer to use the first person POV, others second person. In the event that someone would submit to us a third person POV we would add a script that lets the reader customise the name and other pertinent details of the original character. We put this in place to distinguish it from other fanfiction sites. 🙂
Every time we post a teaser here it is always directly linked to the story page. But if you want to look at the current list, the front page has it. It’s rather bare right now, but as we receive more works it is likely that we will adjust its layout. But at the moment, the single page works. 😀
If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask us!

Desmond: Depends on partner.
Altair: Sub (He too cute tho)

Desmond: Dom. All that lying down and “taking it” on the Animus has made him a little feisty. Is the type who would blindfold you.
Altair: Dom. The silent type even. Who could dominate you just by staring at you.
Ezio: Switch. Has a huge tickling kink and would do it on his partners and would fall apart having it done to him.
Connor: Dom. He’s very deliberate about it, too. Every action is planned thoroughly. He would tie you up in different places (his favourite is one of the posts of his bed).

What an interesting question, amore! Here’s what I think:
Desmond: Switch, but leans to Dom. I think he was more of a Sub before being kidnapped and then he began to be more Dom, but it depends on his partner.
Altair: Full Dom. His demeanor, his voice and his looks scream dominance and boy does he apply it.
Ezio: Switch. Being the knowledgeable man he is, he has learned that a bit of both worlds is good. Depending on his lover he would apply his skills…
Connor: Dom. He would tell you wants he wants and he would dominate all your senses… *sigh*
Aveline: Dom, with BDSM tendencies. She is strong, she has a whip, she loves control. That’s it.
Edward: Sub. Incredibly Edward loves to have his lover do whatever to him. He loves the idea of being a captain on the sea, but a sub in the sheets.
Adéwalé: Sub. Bless his soul, he is so submissive you can do anything you want to him, with consent of course, and he would let you.
Shay: Sub, with masochist tendencies. He loves to serve you and he loves pain too. Do with that what you will…
Arno: Sub, and a moaner too! For all his serious demeanor, he loves to be dominated in bed and who wouldn’t want having an assassino at their mercy.
Evie: Dom, loves safe words. She would play with you and take you to the limit, and you would enjoy every minute of it.
Jacob: Switch, with a like for role playing. Because why not? He knows you very well and knows you enjoy playing pretend with him, so you both take the advantage depending of the situation.
Shao Jun: Switch, leans to Sub. She was raised as a concubine so she enjoys submission most of the time, but becoming an assassin has shown her the benefits of dominating once in a while.
Arbaaz: Dom. He enjoys having his control over you, his voice is commanding and electrifying.

I might’ve bitten more than I could chew when I answered this ask. 😭 But as the Madame of this establishment I feel that it is my responsibility to do an extensive research.
To make it simple I will categorise the Assassins in three groups: The Narrator, The Director, or The Switch. Simply put: Narrator – the one who describes what’s happening; Director – the one who tells you what to do, and; Switch – the one who can go both ways depending on their mood. 😉
With that said… *clears throat*
Desmond: Director. He says things such as “Yes, just like that” or “Bite me here.” If he’s feeling especially excited his vocabulary would be reduced to repeating his words.
Altaïr: Director. Of all the Assassins I think he’s the master at giving orders in the bedroom. 😉 He’s the type who would preface his dirty talk with, “Here’s what I want you to do: (*starts listing off what he wants*)”
Ezio: Switch. He can be both a Director and a Narrator in one night. One moment he’s going to tell you to take off your clothes, the next he’s going to describe in very explicit detail how you look like. ;D
Connor: Narrator. He loves to describe everything he feels. He’s not always been this way; it took some coaxing from you for him to “get out of his shell” so to speak. A favourite of his would be, “You taste so good” and “You feel amazing.”
Aveline: Switch. She wants to keep you guessing as to what “persona” she would take for the night. But I think she’s really good as a Director because I can see her being very domineering.
Edward: Switch, although more of the Director type. Unsurprisingly, his vocabulary is littered with curses. He’s also the type who would go, “I want to hear you scream my name by the time I’m done with you.”
Adéwalé: Narrator. He loves giving you compliments, how lovely your skin looks when it’s all reddened with arousal and how perfect your buttocks feel in his hands ;D
Shay: Director. He would ask you to touch yourself, show him the places that give you the greatest pleasure. If he finds out that you masturbate when he’s not around he would also ask you to show him as well.
Arno: Narrator. Like Adéwalé he would tell you how beautiful you look. Watch out when he starts getting real dirty though. He would say something like, “I love the way you sound like when I’m doing this to you.”
Evie: Director, with a minor streak of Narrator when the mood strikes her. She is a woman who knows exactly what she wants. She will order you around, but she’s also the type who would go, “I love how excited you get when I talk to you like this.”
Jacob: Switch. Like Ezio he can be both in one night. As a Director he’s the type to go, “You like that, don’t you?” When he’s in Narrator mode, though… watch out. If Altaïr is the master of giving orders in the bedroom, Jacob is the master of commenting how good it feels.

Quick question as I am a little nervous to post. I have written a first person point of view fan fiction at the 2,000 word limit. Is that alright to email to you for Secluded Haystack, or does it have to be a confession-style post? Quite nervous.

Yes, it is perfectly all right to e-mail it to us! Thing is, even though it would be called a confession here it is really a fanfiction drabble (albeit a long one). We will accept both first person and second person POVs. If it is in third person I would add that madlibs-style script that would enable the reader to input their own details. I decided to do this to add that personal touch and to distinguish it from being a regular fanfic that you would see in AO3 or Fanfiction.net 🙂
And please don’t be nervous! If you have any more questions to ask and would rather do it privately, you may ask them via e-mail as well. 😀
