Well, it all depends if our patrons would submit their own delicious fics to the Haystack. 😏

As for the language, we prefer stories to be written in English. While we do accept confessions written in another language (the list of the languages we can translate to English is here), translating a much longer story is another matter since it involves more time on our part. We simply cannot publish a story without an English translation since that is still the language we use here.

Oh, they definitely could, although several of the stories in the Haystack do use Javascript to customise the reader’s experience (which I think feels more organic rather than plainly using the “Y/N” placeholders). AO3 sadly doesn’t have that function. 🙁

We used to get our images from It’s not Porn, It’s Art, but since it hasn’t been updated in over 2 years, we mostly just do our search on Google Images. It’s a hit or miss, and you have to get a little creative with your search strings, but for the most part it has us covered. 😉

It should be fine! As stated in our FAQ you can send it to us in parts or via Fan Mail (just tell us if you wish to stay anonymous). Normally, sending us your confession in parts via our ask box is the better choice, but Tumblr still has a knack of eating messages, especially ones that are sent in succession. ;^^ If you prefer to send it this way, please label them accordingly (like part ½, 2/2, etc) so we’d know and confirm if we received all parts.
