I’m not sure it fits as a confession but I have to say this : I played all AC games from the first to III and I was not interested about the new games because it felt like the same thing again and again. I added Syndicate to my wishlist but it was not a priority, then I discovered this Tumblr. You people made me very enthousiast about Jacob, Henry, Crawford and Evie and now I appreciate a good game and I have hope again for Assassin’s Creed. So thanks!

You are very much welcome, amico mio!Ā Frankly, your story sounds so similar to mine. Iām not sure who else here has read my post a few months back, about wanting to quit sometime last year because I just didnāt feel the same passion for the franchise as I once did. The only reason I held on was I was just recentlyĀ āappointedā the Signora Paola role and I didnāt want to quit so soon after being given it. I told myself,Ā āIn 2016, Iāll step down and give it to someone else.ā
When the AC Syndicate confessions came rolling in by late October, I wasĀ reallyĀ annoyed at first, especially when most of them were about Jacob. I was basically thinking: āGoddammit where would I find screenshots ughhh this Jacob character again how many more can I do without using the same images ughhhhghghg.ā That frustration pretty much led me to buy the game.
I still feel a little poleaxed when I reminisce what led me to this moment, frankly. Imagine moderating a dirty confessions blog and wanting to leave the fandom for good, only to be pulled back in by that blog because the confessions wereĀ really getting to you. XD
