The short answer is: We haven’t received plenty of confessions. There’s actually two now in the ask box, of which I plan to edit tomorrow. Now, there was a time that I would make a post reminding people to send in their confessions, but fact of the matter is – there is a huge slowdown. I believe Tumblr’s NSFW ban is one culprit. We’re not really getting new followers because our posts are invisible in the search results and anyone with safe browsing on (which is the default, I believe) simply cannot see our blog.
Another factor could be the fact that interest in the AC franchise (at least here on Tumblr) has waned as well. Maybe it is. I’m not particularly well-updated when it comes to the general fandom ;^^
Frankly, I myself do not feel the same, shall we say, risqué passion as I once have for the franchise. ;^^ Heck, I’m not even that inspired to write my own dirty confessions. Maybe our other patrons feel the same way. There will always be lulls in fandoms, and I think this is just one of them.
I’m still in the middle of playing AC Odyssey (it’s a huuuuuuuge game and it’s proving to be a little too much for a completionist like me) and while I do like Alexios and Kassandra, they haven’t quite… inspired me, you know? I’m hoping that the release of Devil May Cry 5 will kickstart my passion once again. Even though it’s a different game, sometimes inspiration can come from the most unexpected of sources.

‘Weird but funny. In ancient Roman Times the original Valentine’s Day was devoted to sex.
