I find it very heartening to see whenever I hear or read about someone preferring a normal, “attainable” body type more than the glorified “ideal” one. I truly believe that media has warped our self-perception so much that we strive for something that can never exist. And those so-called “fitspiration” models you see on social media sites tend to exacerbate the problem.
Jacob may be fictional, but I think he’s a great example of a man who you know is not overly strict with his diet (heck, he drinks!), but he’s still healthy and very fit because of what he’s doing.
