Reasons why Desmond doesn’t get as much love, as the other assassins:

1. he dead
2. many people do not acknowledge the modern timeline as important (thats what I heard)
3. he dead

PS: I love Desmond, by the way. I really love him. But I am really sarcastic. Maybe the other ladies have better replies than mine, haha.

Now, now, Sister, that’s not a fair thing to say because technically all the historical assassins and templars that’s keeping our bordello in business are dead. (^～^)

But seriously, the modern Assassins/Templars just don’t get as much love as the ones who lived in the past. It’s understandable because the games have always placed more importance on the historical aspect and the modern world is just there to remind you that there is an Assassin/Templar struggle ongoing in the present (for me anyway). I mean, I’ve heard some people don’t like the modern world at all and would rather skip it, which is sad. 🙁 I always appreciate what Ubisoft tries to do in the modern world scenes (yes, even the 1st person POV in Revelations).
