It’s back with a vengeance and, oh my, is it more brutal! No repeat votes allowed, only one poll for everyone… you better get ready for this! The Lord of the AssasSINS (ver 2.0) is the tournament where you, our dear patrons, will get to decide which male Assassin (or renegade Templar) brings you to your knees with the power of his sheer voice alone!

We asked you for your opinion and you gave it to us! That’s right, we are resetting the Lord of the AssasSINS tournament! This time, it’s less of a tournament and more of an all-out brawl: It’ll be more brutal and unforgiving – there will be only one match for all the Assassins and there will be no repeat votes.

To the newcomers here: What is the Lord of the AssasSINS all about? Allow us to use the teaser GIF we used before~

This is the tournament where each male Assassin (and a renegade Templar) gets to fight each other in a battle of true epic proportions. There is no need for violence here for they only need one true skill – their mastery of bringing us to our knees with the power of their sheer voice alone! And you, our dear patrons, get to decide who the winner will be!

So, mark your dates, everyone: The poll will start on Sunday, February 14, 8:00AM and end on February 21, 11:59PM (PST time). Give the best love to your favourite Assassin this Valentine’s Day by voting for him very hard. ;D

We generally would want to leave this decision to you, our patrons. ;D One of our previous dirty polls asked people about the sizes of the Assassins’, ehem, true hidden blades. I daresay we’re overdue for a new and updated one.

Because he’s a dirty Templar, and the polls are only limited to the male Assassins. 😉

But we can make another dirty poll with just the Templars 😀

ETA: Damn, I keep forgetting that Shay isn’t an Assassin anymore. Let me rephrase that – the current dirty polls are only limited to the main playable male characters. 😀

I agree with anon who suggested to make just one round. The winner will be only one anyway, so why delaying the inevitable? It takes too long to vote for each assassin in every round. And I forgot when will we know the results of ongoing poll?

So if you /are/ going to reset the most recent poll, then may I suggest just listing all the characters in one poll so people can only vote for their top choice once as opposed to the paired versus set up as it is setup now? Because: 1) resetting all the rounds again would take too long, we’re already on round 5/7 so repeating it all again would set us back at least a month; and 2) less potential for ties since versus setup lets you cast 4 votes in each round.

I was actually thinking of doing the rounds in a more frequent manner; instead of 4 days apart, we would have it every 2 days.

The idea of this whole “round robin” type of polls is really stemmed from the “tournament” format ie., we wanted each Assassin to have a chance to fight each other, Mortal Kombat style. And, well, we wanted to add a different spin on the polls we did before.

But hey, if most of you would prefer to keep it simple and throw out the whole tournament format that’s fine with me (although I’m going to be a little sad throwing out those graphics I made because I really liked them ;A;). I’m going to have another poll setup once it’s been voted by most to reset the polls. 🙂

Hello ladies, I’m apologizing in advance for this message because I know it’s going to make me sound like an awful person (also probably quite butthurt) but I have a concern about the dirty polls. I get that the idea is to have fun, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to be able to vote as many times as you want seeing as too many people are obviously rigging the results. It’s not fun. It doesn’t make it an accurate representation and it’s not fair on everyone else. I’m really sorry again! :(

You’re not the first anon who stated this. I was actually growing concerned that there would be more people who wouldn’t really like how we designed the polls. And we do love to hear feedback, both positive and negative.

Tell you what, I’ve just made another poll asking if you think we should reset the polls. Not to worry – you cannot vote multiple times in this poll. If the results are in favour of a reset then we shall do the same design for the poll reset.

This poll will be available for a week. Afterwards we will check the results. 🙂

ETA: Also of note – I shall be suspending the dirty polls until we get the results for the poll reset.
