First of all, this isn’t a reproach but more of a gentle reminder. Perhaps a lot of you are new to our bordello – and for that, I personally welcome you! But as we are aware that many of you browse Tumblr (and our blog) with the mobile app, then it is likely that you have not seen our pages, specifically our FAQ and Tags pages. I’d like to direct your attention more on our Tags page.
In it, we have placed this sub-section
On the bottom of that is the list of all of the kinks that have been published. Please do take the time to peruse it and see if it lists any kinks that you do not like. Now, we are not saying this to shame anyone who likes those kinks, but rather avoid any unwanted comments on certain confessions that directly or indirectly shame the confessor for liking that kink. This is a dirty confessions page after all, and shaming people for the dirty things they like is better suited for another place, like your own blog or even a page against the kink you do not like. You have all the freedom in the world to voice your displeasure there, just not here. Dirty Assassin’s Creed Secrets is a safe haven for dirty thoughts and that includes kinks that not everyone would like.
We have recommended using a blacklist extension such as Tumblr Savior and the Blacklist extension on the new XKit to make the blog more palatable to anyone who’s uncomfortable reading certain kinks. However, we are aware that the mobile app doesn’t support this feature and, as mentioned, many of you are using the app. While we would like it very much for every one of you to just use the web version, it’s also unrealistic.
To cut the long story short: My advice? Simply scroll down and move on. As the saying goes: Different strokes for different folks. Or, in true DACS fashion: Different ~strokes~ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) for different folks. Think of it this way: Would you leave a comment – or several – on a kink that you find abhorrent only to raise the note count and have it creep ever closer to Porn Star Status?
