I find it very heartening to see whenever I hear or read about someone preferring a normal, “attainable” body type more than the glorified “ideal” one. I truly believe that media has warped our self-perception so much that we strive for something that can never exist. And those so-called “fitspiration” models you see on social media sites tend to exacerbate the problem.

Jacob may be fictional, but I think he’s a great example of a man who you know is not overly strict with his diet (heck, he drinks!), but he’s still healthy and very fit because of what he’s doing. I’m not saying that one should start studying parkour or boxing, though! Just that looking normal is perfectly okay… and that there are women (and men) who much prefer it that way! 🤗
