Does closing the inbox also mean submitted confessions that have been pre edited?

No, just text confessions. Pre-edited submissions will still be accepted and added to the queue. As stated in our Submit page: “Another advantage of using the Submit box is in the event that we might close the Ask box; any confessions you have, you may still be able to send your own with ‘Submit’.” 🙂
