‘So I was watching Air Crash Investigation and realised that Paul was playing the First Officer; now all I can see is Jacob in that seat (or maybe Vex; I’m sure either of them would put the ‘cock’ in ‘cockpit’). I’m the Captain, we fly long haul. First Officer Frye is my favourite co-pilot. Long-haul flights can get boring, so we pass the time by having some fun, and we’d leave the cabin address on whilst we do it. (It’s S14E01.)’

If I’m not mistaken some flights (especially long-haul ones) require three pilots (basically on a shift basis), so… you can definitely have both Jacob and Vex in the, ehem, cockpit. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Or one of them could be the Flight Engineer (although I think that would only apply if the airplane is old).
